I'm leaving East Hampton this am very excited about the possibilities. I actually met a top broker out here, someone who has been doing business out here for 17 some years and very successful. I met him at The Golden Pear coffee shop-pure "coincidence" although at this point I am beginning to suspect in life there are very few random coincidences. Things pan out in such special ways sometimes, I am beginning to seriously feel like a pawn in a grand master plan of specialness. And that's a feeling I sure like. What I have come away with is a sure feeling that I would like to do some business out here. There is a perfect synergy between my clients in New York and the Hamptons. That's obvious. I can't believe I didn't think of it before. This is perfect for me. Oozing with excitement I started googling for other successful boutique brokers that are established out
here- someone I can align with and learn. Wow. Learn something new. Boy, does that sound exciting to me. And let's face it, I know I'm not the type to spend every weekend sitting around drinking Sancerre and eating chips and salsa. I need to be productive to be happy. It's part of my character deep inside. Adina Hamptons. It has a nice ring to it. Even if I have to partner up with an established boutique firm out here. That's perfectly fine. Even better. For learning and for socializing, I like it. Stay tuned. My first "interview" is next Friday. Ha. An interview. I haven't had one of those in um, I don't know, 12 years? Wow. FUN! I guess it's more of a potential discussion of how two firms can do business together but "interview", I just get a kick of it..
