This is my very first blog entry on AdinaNYCApartments.com and I couldn't be more excited. I have to thank Michael Zittel of Serr Biz for creating such an amazing website for me and teaching me about all this cyber stuff in a way in which a lay woman like me could understand ;-) I am a lot of things, but a "computer geek" is definitely not one of them. Michael built me something special that I know will be a launch pad to bigger and better things and for that I will always be grateful to him.
First and foremost, I would like to share my day to day experiences of the rental market that I am so immersed in. I also want to share my insights of owning and operating my own small business. I have gained so much knowledge over the years-I would like to share it in a meaningful way and hopefully inspire some other entrepreneurs to take some risks and follow their passions. Real Estate coupled with running my own business is without a doubt my passion. Without "Adina Equities" I would not be the same person. I could never sit behind a desk and work for someone else. I can't punch a clock and work from 9-5 and shut down. I am always "on" and that's the bounce in my step, the spirit of my office and the part of me and my firm that makes it tick and tock around the clock. Every day I learn and grow from successes and failures. I will speak honestly and openly about both the triumphs and the setbacks on my blog. No one succeeds without failing first, and I have failed more than once. But I pick myself and keep going. Maybe I have to try a different route. But I do keep going. You have to, other wise you might as well just stay working for someone else. If you aren't a fighter, a true fighter in your heart, you really can't own your own company and build it yourself. Because in order to do so-you do have to fight. And fight hard.
My wish is that my blog will inspire other agents and even people in other industries to follow their passion and start their own businesses. This is really how we will stimulate the economy isn't it? Even in some small way. I feel like I am doing my part. And for that I am very proud. To be continued..
