Tuesday March 31st, 10:00 am

Wow, It's been a week since my last blog. Amazing how time flies. I kept thinking it was just two or three days ago. Fat chance. Well, the good news is, I do feel better now. Yay! I rested and yes, even took off from blogging. I think that battery inside me that was running low went all the way to zero. Ha! Not a good thing. Pacing myself is something I have never been good at. I always go, go, go until I just can't go anymore. Not always the best thing. But I do have to say some of my best work and most creative ideas have been accomplished during that crazy manic phase. Too bad there always has to be that crash and burn. Hmmm. Well, anyway, even in my "resting" time, I have of course managed to accomplish a lot. I think I am always accomplishing something, that's just my nature. I organized and decorated my new house in East Hampton, single handedly. The people in the stores around here think I am someone's interior designer.

Um. No. Lol. I stayed here for a few days and just got that done. I sleep better out here. Even though my NYC apartment is very quiet, it's not like sleeping among trees and nature. It's healing here and that's why I like to be here. I also hooked up with a Real Estate firm out here which I am very excited about. Name and formal announcement coming soon.. I will join forces with them to do some business out here. I am excited about that.

It's great that my license is valid here and all I have to do is learn the market. I went to a bunch of open houses on Saturday to start to learn values. That was a lot of fun. It's a nice change from the NYC apartment.

Always 4 walls, a doorman building. Etc. At least this is different, it's fresh and new and I like that. I woke up yesterday out here and intended to drive back to my office. No such thing happened. I did work, but just from my lap top in the house. I really enjoyed it. It's days like those where I make my own destiny that having my own business means so much to me. I used to feel soooo guilty when I did things like that. I still do to some degree, but not as much as before. You got to remember to live. And to remember the advantages and disadvantages of owning your own business.

There is a lot of sacrifice. But then there are days where you can say today I am going to work today from wherever I want, or not at all. And no one to tell you that you that you can't. That's a good thing.

To be continued.

How do you find the rental market with all the stir in property values and declining sales? You was in past cycles that rentals pick up in this kind of a market.
