I'm behind in my blog again. Can I blame it on Passover?? This is an old post and I am going to catch everyone up now..

April 1st, 10:45 am.

I am on a plane to Miami for a good friends Bachlorette party. I almost missed my flight as usual. I don't know why I still book morning flights knowing full well I am just not a person that bounces out of bed early in the a.m. Thankfully I made it on the plane unlike my last fiasco when flying. Anyway, I almost didn't come. Mostly because of me feeling irresponsible for not being in the office. But I have to realize that that's silly. I am a slave to my phone-pretty much on call 24/7. I am a person who accumulates 100's of emails in a day. I answer them from wherever I am. That counts for something doesn't it? For the rest of this week, I will be answering them from sunny Miami. I deserve it I say to myself. I actually plan to et some serious R & R on this trip. My friend is here to celebrate her upcoming nuptials but I know she wants to keep things healthy too. I plan not to drink a lot and eat fresh fruits and salad, lay in the sun and work out too. Like a spa trip. I know I have been spending time at my house in East Hampton. But that really hasn't been R & R. I have been moving non-stop there and yes, working too. Well, Ok, I think I have justified this little trip enough for one blog. Ha. The pilot just announced 80 degrees and sunny in Miami. Can't wait to get off the plane and "work".
